Four fans, three from Scotland and a proud Yorkshireman, share their experience of following America’s game at home and abroad. The football loving fans from across the pond get into America’s game and seek to understand, explain and enjoy it from a lifetimes experience of watching traditional British sports. The Bullpen bros are rooting for the Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox. During the 2023 season we’ll bring you a regular review to help you not just understand what’s happened but importantly help you understand the simple yet complex game. We’ll give you our Heroes, Villains, Highlights, Fantasy Baseball update and our Triple AAA, Ask About Anything to help us all learn. A trio of Bullpen Bros as Rich spends too much celebrating the fact only his Mariners boast a winning record within the Bullpen.
White Sox fan Dave Jnr is relieved that his Chicago team MLB scpreline only shows the last 10 games and currently isn't changing.
Alan tells us that the Tigers once again hit 500, will they stay there?
And Red Sox fan, Yorkshire Dave, chats to us about Bunts and Brawls and completes the alliteration bringing the Brewers into it.
We're heading off in different directions shortly to watch both the London Series with the Phillies and the Mets and we'll see the Durham Bulls too host the Charlotte Knights who might have some good news for the White Sox coming up!
The Trade Deadline looms and we try to figure out the team's strategies here as question marks over teams who should be contending will potentially trade their star players. As soccer fans we make it make sense!
And there is a trophy in the clubhouse as Dave Jnr brings home the Football Quiz Cup as the Bros enjoy a night out and support children with cancer.
